About Mr.

Mr. Bol David Them is a highly motivated and results-driven Market Systems Development professional with over 12 years of experience in humanitarian and development programming. He brings extensive expertise in Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), agronomy, market systems, resilience programming, and community-based development across both national and international NGOs. He has strong technical and operational experience in market assessments, farmer training, cooperative strengthening, cash programming, community mobilization, VSLA facilitation, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and climate-resilient food systems. Bol has demonstrated capacity in designing and implementing inclusive, market-driven programmes that empower smallholder farmers, women, and youth, while integrating safeguarding, gender equity, and sustainable livelihoods approaches. Throughout his career, he has implemented programmes funded by major donors and partners, including Green Horizon, UKAID, Christian Aid, the European Union, WFP, FAO, USAID, SDC, BMZ, SIDA, and the LAST Project funded by the Government of Norway. He is recognized for his strong leadership, effective stakeholder engagement, and ability to deliver high-impact results in complex and fragile environments. Mr. Bol David Them joined CORWADO in January 2026 as a Programme Officer for Market Systems Development and Private Sector Engagement, where he contributes to the design and implementation of inclusive, market-driven food systems interventions aimed at improving productivity, strengthening value chains, and enhancing resilience among vulnerable communities.
